Bourgogne Aligoté -

AOC approved (allowed to be produced anywhere in Burgundy) Our Aligoté is produced in the Meursault region though not from the same soil as the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The grape Aligoté needs soil much more fertile and rustic. Our Bourgogne Aligoté is a fresh white wine best served as an aperitif mixed with a ‘crème de cassis’ otherwise known as a ‘Kir’.

Nose :  apple and grape with a burst of freshness

Palate :  strong perfume of yellow fruits such as apricot, peach and pear from the tannins with hints of citrus.

Temperature :  8°-10° C

Gourmet agreement :  As an aperitif with a ‘crème de fruits’ like blackcurrant or peach. Eat with a cold salad

Aging potential :  2-3 years - drinkable now
